Day 4

We were given two things two review in our Western Civ. class. One was a powerpoint and the other was a rap song that Mr. Schick wrote. We were told to compare the two and then write a paragraph on them. I like the rap and the power point but I think that the power point goes into more detail about the rap. One of the lines in the rap is "They drained the swamp" and "On the shores of the Tiber River". These quotes are used as headings in the powerpoint. The power point then explains what is happening in that quote like "they drained the swamp" is when Tarquin the Proud’s grandfather built the Cloaca Maxima (largest ancient drain), which channeled water into the Tiber.
